Kearney Noon Rotary has a mission to improve literacy worldwide. For many years, we have gifted books to families in need. We entered a partnership with the Dolly Parton Foundation that now allows us to reach all Kearney children (ages 0 to 5) to gift monthly books and build family literacy skills. Kearney Noon Rotary pays for the processing of the free Dolly Parton book program. Rotary seeks other local partnerships to support funding the mailing cost. Dolly's Foundation supplies wonderful age appropriate books. Last year Kearney Noon Rotary received recognition from the Nebraska State Literacy Association as Literacy Champion of the Year.
