We intervene in the lives of children in the foster care system through camps and mentoring programs in order to improve life outcomes and to transform communities. The 2024 Kearney Royal Family Kids Camp served 77 children ages 6 to 11 who have experienced the hardships of abuse and neglect, which resulted in their placement into foster care. The 2024-2025 Mentoring Program is serving the majority of the kids who attended Royal Family Kids Camp. Mentors and mentees form a level of trust during the RFK summer camp program. This bond can be carried over into an individual relationship supervised through the RFK Mentoring Program and mentoring clubs.
