Shelton FFA Boosters

About This Organization

The Shelton FFA Booster Club was established to support the activities of the Shelton FFA Chapter. The Shelton FFA Chapter was originally chartered in 1938 and was discontinued in 1970. With the addition of an Ag Teacher at Shelton High School the FFA program was reinstated in 2016.

The short-term goal of the Booster Club is to assist the Chapter with financial support for participating and competing in FFA events and contests. We specifically would like to assist with purchasing a floral refrigerator as well as continue to provide support for the iconic blue jackets to first-year students.

The long-term goal is to provide financial support for larger projects that will benefit the FFA Chapter as well as the Ag program at Shelton High School. The Booster Club spent the first couple of years raising money to help fund a greenhouse for the students to utilize for both Ag and Science classes. Students have benefited with the use of the greenhouse where they have grown various plants/flowers and sold for additional fundraisers.

The Shelton Cornerstone Bank is providing $10,000 in matching funds exclusive to the Shelton organizations participating in Give Where You Live.

Thank you, Cornerstone! We appreciate your generosity.
