In addition to funds designated for scholarships, the Shelton Public School Foundation raises money for its general fund.

In recent years, the Foundation, through the general fund, donated almost $18,000 to SPS to help purchase Chromebooks for grade 3-6 students. We also granted money to improve the functionality and safety of the elementary playground. This included a sprinkler system and a soft surface of healthy green grass. This year, 2024, we donated $16,000 to purchase a state-of-the-art, multi-functional mixer/meatgrinder. This machine offers the staff more food prep options and enables increased efficiency.

Our goal now is to replenish our nearly depleted general fund. Your support is vital and truly appreciated.
