Silver Threads 49915 is a group of volunteer members from the Kearney, Nebraska area who have made and presented the Quilts of Valor to Veterans in the Buffalo County area since 2016. We are currently at 17 members and all belong to the Quilts of Valor Foundation (QOVF.Org), a national organization that has presented over 400,000 quilts to Veterans all across America since its inception in 2003. We meet to sew at the Kearney Public Library one day a month.
