In 2012, the Tasha Keiter Memorial Youth Golf Fund (TKMYGF) was established to honor Tasha Keiter. Tasha played golf on the collegiate level, but her dream was to coach and teach youth golf. With assistance from area PGA Professionals, the Keiter Family selected the SNAG Golf (Starting New At Golf) program to share Tasha's love of golf, sportsmanship, honesty, and etiquette with young people. The program fits her passion for teaching golf and is able to benefit a broad range of schools. SNAG Golf has built a premier learning system and has proved to be the superior method when teaching golf fundamentals in a fun and easy way, using age-appropriate equipment kits.

We are proud to say that we teamed up with Nebraska PGA Reach in 2021 and are seeking your help to support the Tasha Keiter Memorial Youth Golf Fund. Since its inception in 2012, the TKMYGF has successfully provided curriculum and equipment to all ten Kearney Public Elementary Schools and six outlying Elementary Schools. Through the SNAG Golf program, over 5,000 Kearney area elementary students have experienced the excitement of golf in their physical education classes. Our goal is to continue to replace equipment for current programs, branch out to other local area schools to begin to teach the game to our youth, and assist with scholarships so that young people will continue to play golf in High School, and beyond.
