HelpCare Clinic provides access to medical care at no cost for those in our community who otherwise would have gone without it. Through a network of nearly 200 volunteers from both medical and non-medical backgrounds, your support empowers our low-income neighbors to seek healthcare without furthering their financial burden. This year, Give Where You Live to create healthy homes right here in our community.

HelpCare Clinic offers necessary medical care to qualifying patients including:
• Primary medical care
• Annual, employment and school physicals
• Chronic disease management
• Mental and behavioral healthcare
• Well Woman Exams
• Orthopedic care
• Preventative screenings
• Diagnostic lab testing
• And so much more


HelpCare Clinic does not provide:
• Urgent or emergency care
• Reproductive or prenatal care
• Prescription narcotics


Located in the heart of Kearney - across the street from the Emergency Room at Good Samaritan Hospital - HelpCare aims to provide quality and compassionate care. We are a faith-based clinic in the approach we take, serving our patients as the hands and feet of Christ in our community. All who qualify are welcome and encouraged to seek treatment and will be treated with compassion and respect under our roof.

HelpCare patients are not charged for any services provided under our roof, but they must qualify to be seen at our facility. Patients must:
• Be completely uninsured.
• Live or work in Nebraska
• Earn at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level annually ($93,600 for a family of four).
