Forward Kearney is a public-private partnership to fully fund a new $5.4 million building on the southwest corner of 11th Avenue and Talmadge Street. Housed in the new facility will be the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce, the Development Council for Buffalo County, and the Kearney Visitors Bureau. The building will provide the same and many more amenities to our members, community, and visitors while telling the story of what has made the Kearney area what it is today!

For many decades, our three organizations have been honored to serve the Kearney area business community, developers, site selectors, and visitors from across the state, nation, and world. These partnerships have propelled our shared office as the "front door" to Kearney, which is thriving and has much to be proud of!

Much like we did in 1993, our organizations have outgrown our current building. Our services and reach have grown exponentially over the past three decades and with continued growth, challenges persist: competitive workforce climate; attracting and retaining talent; and persuading conventions/event planners to host events in Kearney. Our vision for the future is to drive overall economic growth in the Kearney area and the community deserves a space that can advance that vision.
