Once a year, the Kearney Public Library Foundation brings a well-known author to Kearney. New York Times best-selling author Anne Hillerman was at the World Theater last October and Kristen Harmel was here in September 2024.

We are seeking donations to bring another best-selling author to Kearney in 2025. Please help us make this possible and plan to join us at the World Theatre next year!

The Kearney Public Library Foundation has helped the Library with the Historic Kearney Hub project to digitize the newspaper from 1889 forward for historical and genealogical research. We also provide programming assistance for both children and adults and other projects such as hearing loops, Markerspace, benches, furniture, sculptures, and murals. With your help, we can continue to make our Library a special place.
