SYSC - Shelton Youth Sports Club is a non-profit, volunteer organization that was founded to provide and coordinate athletic opportunities for youth in the Shelton area.

Donations received in 2019 were used to purchase a Dr. Dish shooting machine to be used at the school. Our 2018 donations were used to provide more youth sports camps in town with the high school and to pay for equipment such as a pitching machine and accessories for our teams and community to use. In 2017, donations we helped purchase an indoor basketball shooting machine that is suitable for people of all ages to use at the school. We were also able to send some teams to extra non-league competitions, and support other youth programs at the school such as the Bulldog Walking Club. We will continue to team up with the coaches at Shelton Public School to provide structured open gym, and various sports camps at an affordable price.

Opportunities currently offered by SYSC include: Volleyball, Football, Wrestling, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, and Softball.  We are committed to providing opportunities that develop not only athletic skills but also sportsmanship, teamwork, and character.
