Your kind donation grants students the opportunity to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world, enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning, and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school. Junior Achievement in Kearney is growing in impact like never before, now reaching nearly 3,000 students in over 140 classrooms across Kearney - and even in the surrounding communities of Pleasanton, Amherst, and Gibbon! Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Our programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs that make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Annually, over 80 local volunteers from the Kearney business community teach over 3,000 K-12 students how to manage money, give them tools to develop their professional futures, and teach them about the economy and workforce they will be part of. Help us spread the Junior Achievement message to more Kearney students this school year than ever before.
