Acerca de esta organización

Kearney Area Children's Museum (KACM) was founded in 1989, with the goal of providing children interactive ways to blend learning and fun. Today, the goal is the same, but our services are constantly expanding. We are located in the Alia Arram Memorial Building, featuring 22 exhibit zones and offering several educational programming activities.

KACM understands that children learn best through play, and we have built an environment where learning can be tangible and fun. We surround children with opportunities to learn through reenactments and exploration of everyday experiences in our community. We strive to keep the museum fresh with new innovative tools to foster educational pretend play.

Our goal for this year is to continue being a bright light for children and their families. Children use play as a therapy to work through many emotions and experiences. We are confident that with your support we can continue to make a positive impact in our community by being a safe and fun place for children to be themselves, let off steam, and make positive connections.

Without the assistance of community-minded individuals and organizations, we wouldn't be able to continually bring new exhibits and programs for our area youth. We have become a popular stop for state tourism, and field trips for schools reaching across the western half of our state and beyond! We strive for every visitor to genuinely enjoy their time at our museum and leave already planning their next visit! Your generosity will make a difference, regardless of size. Thank you in advance for your support!
