What an exciting time to be a Bobcat!

We are beyond grateful for your past donations. We were able to successfully pay off our brand-new playground and donor sign. We also were able to use funds to replace the Northeast Bobcats fence sign after it was removed during our remodel. These things weren't possible without donors like you! We recently also purchased a book vending machine for the students of our school, made possible from your donations.

Northeast Elementary is one of the largest elementary schools in the Kearney Public School system with an enrollment of over 380 students. It is located in a neighborhood containing pockets of deep poverty and young families facing economic barriers. Due to these struggles, the families lack the resources to enroll children in community programs (City of Kearney's Park and Recreation programs, Kearney Family YMCA, Kearney Soccer Club, Kearney Youth Football League, and many more). During the last 5 years, Northeast's poverty rate has increased by 21%! This has made fundraising within the school difficult.
