Kearney Noon Rotary has a mission to improve literacy worldwide. For years, the Kearney Noon Rotary Club has championed childhood literacy by providing books to families in need.
Our partnership with the Dolly Parton Foundation now makes it possible to send a new book every month to every Kearney child (ages 0-5), giving families the tools to build lifelong learning habits together. We have provided books to over 900 little ones over 3 years. There are many more families we can help.

Kearney Noon Rotary pays for the processing of the free Dolly Parton books. Rotary seeks other local partnerships to support funding the mailing cost. Dolly's Foundation supplies wonderful age appropriate books. Kearney Noon Rotary received recognition from the Nebraska State Literacy Association as Literacy Champion of the Year.
